Over 1,000 merchants (healthcare providers) in the UK already partner with Tabeo. 50-80 more sign up every month. Tabeo is profitable and has doubled monthly income post lockdown.

We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own the statutory and management accounts of the three entities that comprise Tabeo Holding. This person will work closely with the CFO and CEO in investor relations activities, such as roadshows and investor updates. Relevant experience in a similar role in financial services is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and review budgets
  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
  • Own day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing, payroll, processing expenses, etc.
  • Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for investors and management
  • Keep track and update cap table
  • Contract auditing services to ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
  • Create and maintain relationships with service providers and contractors, including banking institutions and accountants
  • Update and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Maintain a policy manual for the finance department

Relevant work experience

At least 5 years experience in finance role in financial institutions. Must have experience with UK financial and accounting regulations. Good understanding of consumer financial products.

Degrees, Courses & Certification

Advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field. Completed ACA or ACCA Certification.
