Tabeo makes private healthcare more accessible by providing payments and business tools to medical professionals. Its payments platform connects lenders, providers and patients seeking finance. In addition, Tabeo offers medical professionals an easy option to create a website and advertise online. Over 2,000 merchants (healthcare providers) in the UK already partner with Tabeo. 50-80 more sign up every month. Tabeo is profitable and has doubled monthly income post lockdown.

We’re looking for a star to join our Growth team. Experience in a sales role within a fast growing start up or in financial services would be beneficial.

Acquire New Merchants

You will be responsible for acquiring new merchants in selected verticals such as dentistry, hearing aids, hair loss, optical and veterinary. This will require you to be organised, source and nurture leads. Run through video demos, on board in minutes and make sure that all the users of finance are fully trained. You will also run KYC checks on the business and their owners. The majority of the time you will be doing video demo’s however travel may be required to certain clients.

Manage Merchant Relationships

You will be the go to person for your client for all questions they may have. You are expected to build strong relationships, not only with the business owner but also those who use the platform on a regular basis. You will run refresher training sessions and help them when they require. We aim to service merchants in real time. The best way to do so 24-7 is via chat. We use whatsapp, chatbots, FAQ and scripts. Merchants can reach out to us via phone, text, whatsapp or email.

Increase Merchant Productivity

Finance is important for our merchants but they are also busy. It’s important that we engage them. You’ll contact merchants by phone and WhatsApp that have not completed a new loan within the last 4 weeks. You’ll update them on recent trends (pricing, activity) and ensure the local staff is trained. On top of this, you will be responsible for selling Tabeo’s add on services. These services help increase the productivity of your merchant.

Cross Sell Products

You will be expected to cross sell our other product offerings Cards and PxSuite to existing and new merchants. Cards allow merchants to securely accept payment online in seconds via credit or debit cards. PxSuite allows merchants to amplify their presence as a specialist online giving their patients a new experience that leads to higher conversion.

Relevant work experience

Practical experience is important, preferable 2 to 5 years in technical sales (fintech, software). Excellent communication, sales and troubleshooting skills are important.

Degrees, Courses & Certification

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration. The degree should be obtained from an accredited and certified institute.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Fluent in English AND Dutch or Spanish or Italian
  • Organised, meticulous and great time management
  • Able to empathise with merchants but also have difficult conversations
  • Ability to work under stress - Merchants can be difficult and demands are unpredictable
  • Able to think of solutions on the spot
  • Must have a genuine concern for customer and merchant outcomes
  • Flexibility is a must. We work in a fast paced environment and we are growing very quickly. This means that you may be given additional responsibilities to help out other teams throughout the business.

Compensation

  • Fixed annual salary £24k-30k, depending on experience
